"The Family Trees" 

The kinetic elements are entirely stainless. There are three degrees of motion defined by primary, secondary and tertiary axes. The primary rotation about the vertical is propelled by "parent" wind sails which "hold" onto the secondary rotation, propelled by "children" wind sails. These in turn hold onto the "star" wind sails, representing the future and dreams of the community. Additionally, atop each kinetic element is a single large star which "pinwheels" and turns.

This piece was designed to represent the growing families of the area.
