‘Keepers of the Flame’

The “Keepers of the Flame” safeguard important and profound information, customs and traditions handed down by our ancestors

Comet Vane II

I brought this one back for the show because the tail of the comet is one of the most beautiful flames I have ever seen, and so it seemed like a fun thing to do. ' Comet Vane II ' is both and indicator of wind speed and direction.  The 'II' version is larger than the original- at 24" tall, by 2' long by 10" wide.  It is an original design of ours from the 80's.

Spirale s. I

This also an original, but it seemed a playful part of a flame sale, since its main motion is to spiral like a flame.  Two elements go in opposite directions, but the spiraling effect adds a dimension of vertical motion skyward.  It is 2' tall by 10 inches wide.

Circles of Life 2

A popular piece from last year's sale,we have come full circle with the design (co-designed with me by my five year
old) and there are only two left in the edition. So it is fitting to include it here as we move on into our new theme, and close out the old.
With an adjustable height, we have it currently standing at 8 feet overall, the width is 17".

Lucky Bird II: Phoenix Rising

This larger version ( 5'6" x 22" ) of the classic original is a stronger but just as lovely.  Outside rings move oppositely while bird is mostly stationary.  The Phoenix is a legendary bird from both east and west of unsurpassed beauty.  Its presence was extremely fortuitous, and the lesson of its resurrection from the flame which is both its death and rebirth is a strong example of life's miraculous dynamics.  Stand  or side mount optional.

Mini Solar System III: Dragon Dreams

The first dream of the year of the dragon brought me dragon dreams.  Dragons in beautiful colors and shapes, which I tried to recreate here, in this almost closed out edition of the mini solar system series.  The three rings pass by in close tolerance, nearly touching going opposite directions.  This piece normally stands 5 feet,  8 inches, and is approximately 30 inches wide.  But it can be made taller or shorter, and different mount options are available.

Pacific Mermaid II

I decided to include this as well since it is being closed out soon, and also it is very flame like in shape. It height is normally around 4 feet, and it is around 24" wide, but height and base are adjustable.

Wind & Water Dragon

An obvious choice for a flame theme show, this design based on the Chinese myth of the double dragons of happiness swirls happily in both directions at different speeds, and are as freely activated by wind as by water. Dimensions are 62" x 26" and height and base are options.

Spaceship S.S. Cloud Climber

The Spaceship is often mistaken for a flame because of its shimmering luster... (maybe?) Anyhow, it's a new design for us and fun to showcase here at this flame show. Its multiple kinetics make it a real favorite, and it is almost always moving. set at 6' x 27"
with options for height and mounting.

Rosebud Classica-

Stainless version.

This elegant classic edition has been selling quickly since its introduction this year. The resiliant and crisply clean stainless is a lovely choice for the curvilinear form. A lovely way to start the season of the 'flame', with sparkling flame shaped movement. Overall height is normally 7'6" with a choice of bases and mounts. Width is 30+".

Study in Squares: M

This is a classic with gold leaf and
there is only one left in this edition. With base as pictured, it stands at 6' 8" x 3'6" and can also have different mounting options. It is nice higher as well.
