is a larger version ( 6' x 3' x 2') of
an older design. It is the first time I have remade this design
in 20 years. All brass, its kinetics are very playful, and, as
noted, asymmetrical.

This 20 foot tall Benson Sculpture
Park installation of Diaphanous
Yo Tien has survived major
blizzards and micro bursts. In this short clip, there is just a
small breeze, so only a small portion of its myriad moving parts are
animated. For greater kinetic detail, a VHS video is available.
